Glass World

A blackjack card game dressed in glass and light. You play against bots, stack up points, and that's basically it. No money involved, no catch. Just cards on a cosmic table.

About the game

Cards, bots, and glass

Glass World is blackjack — the card game you already know — wrapped in a visual theme we call "Glass World." Translucent cards, neon glow, cosmic backgrounds. You play against one or two bots, pick your bet in virtual points, and try to beat the dealer. Hit, stand, double down. The usual stuff, just prettier.

We made it because we wanted a card game that looked good and didn't ask for your credit card every five minutes. There's no real money anywhere in this thing.

How it works

01

Open the table

Hit "Play" and you're in. No account needed, no download. The game runs right in your browser on any device.

02

Place your bet

Pick a chip value. You start with a stack of virtual points. These aren't worth anything outside the game — they're just how you keep score.

03

Play your hand

Get dealt two cards. Hit for more, stand to hold, double if you're feeling bold. Try to get closer to 21 than the dealer without busting.

04

Watch the bots

Two bots play alongside you against the same dealer. They've got their own points and their own strategies. It's more fun with company, even if it's artificial.

Quick reference

Core rules

Card values

Number cards are face value. Face cards (Jack, Queen, King) count as 10. Aces are 11 or 1 — whichever helps your hand.

Your moves

Hit draws another card. Stand keeps what you've got. Double Down doubles your bet and draws one final card. That's it — three choices.

Dealer rules

The dealer follows fixed rules: hits below 17, stands on 17 or higher. No judgment calls, no bluffing. Pure math.

Blackjack

An Ace plus a 10-value card on the initial deal. That's blackjack, and it pays 1.5 times your bet in points. Best feeling in the game.

Reviews

I play a few hands before bed most nights. It's low-key and the glass theme is actually really nice to look at. No nag screens, no upsells.

Me and my girlfriend play side by side on our phones and compare scores afterward. She's better at knowing when to stand. I double down too much, but it's funny when it works. Minus half a star because the card animations lag on my old tablet sometimes.

Tom K.Queenstown, NZ

The bots are surprisingly fun to watch. One of them plays aggressively and busts constantly. Good stuff.

Sarah O.Wellington, NZ

Solid blackjack, cool theme. I just wish there were more visual themes to pick from. The cosmic glass look is great but I'd like a couple more options after a while. Four stars because the points tracker could show session history too, not just the running total.

The team

Lead developer

The developer

Code, servers, everything that breaks

She built the first version over a weekend because she wanted a card game that didn't pester her with push notifications. Wrote the game logic, set up the server, handles the stuff that goes wrong at odd hours. It's still mostly a one-person codebase and she likes it that way.

Designer and art

The designer

Art, glass theme, player feedback

Her boyfriend and the reason the game looks the way it does. The cosmic backgrounds, the glass card backs, the neon chip glow — all him. Also handles player feedback and runs the occasional community poll to figure out what to work on next. Previously did freelance UI work; now it's mostly card skins and particle effects.

No. The points exist only inside the game. You can't cash them out, trade them, or convert them into anything with real value. There's no gambling here — just a card game with a score.
